Chairman of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has stated that due to the previous government, terrorist organizations are once again raising their heads from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Balochistan. The government will send its delegation to the All Parties Conference (APC) on Operation Zarb-e-Azb.
During a press conference at the Governor House in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Bilawal Bhutto said that the PPP has always engaged in positive politics and does not believe in abusive politics. People trust our representatives because of their problem-solving abilities.
Bilawal Bhutto said that currently, there is a politics of hatred and ego in Pakistan, with abusive politics at its peak in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. We must counter non-political and undemocratic politics with political traditions.
He mentioned that the PPP is organizing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and will counter those who engage in hate politics with positive politics. He expressed confidence that this positive politics will prevail, God willing.
Bilawal Bhutto noted that he has never seen so many problems simultaneously in history, with economic crises, inflation, unemployment, and poverty affecting every Pakistani. The perception is that conditions are worsening day by day.
He warned that if politicians do not solve these problems, they will face public backlash.
Bilawal Bhutto acknowledged that the country is facing economic and security issues. He praised the brave armed forces for their historic defeat of terrorists, noting that while the entire army of a neighboring country failed, the sacrifices of Pakistan's security forces broke the terrorists' backbone on this side of the border.
He reiterated that due to the previous government, terrorist organizations are once again emerging from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Balochistan.
He announced that the government has decided to convene an APC regarding the operation, and the PPP will send its delegation to the APC to share its suggestions and concerns at the relevant forum. He emphasized the importance of making decisions through consultation, which will yield positive results.
Bilawal Bhutto stated that agencies are making sacrifices in all four provinces and that it is essential to rectify our own house. He admitted past mistakes and the need to address them.
He mentioned that the Prime Minister has assured that decisions in the PSDP will involve taking the PPP into confidence and addressing their issues.
Bilawal Bhutto asserted that visiting Afghanistan will not solve our problems. Foreign ministers continue to visit, and he had brought China, Pakistan, and Afghanistan to the same table. He believes that the solution to Afghanistan's issues lies with the Afghan government.
Bilawal Bhutto mentioned that they did not raise Sindh's issues in the budget; instead, the Chief Minister solved Sindh's issues. They protested and addressed the problems of the other three provinces.
He clarified that his promise of 300 free electricity units was conditional on becoming Prime Minister. If he had become Prime Minister, he would have provided 300 free electricity units. This promise would have been fulfilled upon becoming Prime Minister. They have arranged free solar power for the poor in Sindh.
Bilawal noted that despite various economic and security issues, solutions have not been found. The President and Prime Minister have taken steps to eliminate terrorism. However, when terrorists are brought and settled in the merged districts, how can terrorism be eradicated? Denying security and economic instability does not solve the problem. They do not desire ministries and will support the government without them.
