Under the Benazir Skilled Program, computer, modern education, and vocational training will be provided: Asif Zardari

While addressing the inauguration ceremony of the Benazir Skilled Program at the Aiwan-e-Sadr (Presidential Palace), President Asif Ali Zardari said that the program will offer training in computers, modern education, and various skills.

Speaking on the occasion, he praised Finance Minister Naveed Qamar’s efforts in the initiation of the BISP (Benazir Income Support Program), stating that under BISP, children — both boys and girls — are being provided with education and their rights.

The President said that through this program, the nation's boys and girls will be empowered with skills. Under the Benazir Skilled Program, they will be taught computers, modern education, and vocational training.

Asif Ali Zardari added that by learning these skills, the youth will make the country proud abroad. He noted that there is a high demand for professions like nursing overseas.

He said that girls will be trained in fields such as nursing, and that German and Chinese languages will also be taught through the skilled program.

He emphasized that the Pakistan Peoples Party wants to empower ordinary people through its vision. A laborer's son, by learning skills, can support his family and serve the nation. "We want to transfer modern technology to the people," he said.
