The Senate Security Incharge was appointed on March 11 without advertisement

Following the removal of the hidden camera and device from the polling booth before the voting for the chairman and deputy chairman of the senate, it has now come to light that the security in-charge of the upper house was appointed on March 11 without any advertisement.

Geo News has received the notification of the appointment of the security in-charge of the Senate, according to which the security in-charge of the upper house, Wajahat Afzal, has been appointed on March 11.

According to the statement, Wajahat Afzal has been posted as Sergeant at Arms for one year, Wajahat Afzal has been posted without advertisement under Rule 17 and he has been posted from March 9.

Section Officer Zahoor Ahmed issued notification of appointment of Wajahat Afzal in Grade 18 in the Senate Secretariat.

It may be recalled that before today's vote for the chairman and deputy chairman of the Senate, the opposition leaders seized hidden cameras and devices from inside the polling booth, after which the opposition staged a fierce protest in the House.
