Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori has announced the provision of two camels to a person who allegedly suffered oppression at the hands of an influential landlord in Sanghar.
Governor Sindh stated that the police should take action against those responsible for the incident and ensure justice for the citizen.
He mentioned that cutting off the camel's leg and taking away the poor man's livelihood is inhumane. Cutting off the camel's leg for entering a field is not an act of humanity.
He emphasized that no human should treat animals in such a manner. The month of sacrifice is meant to awaken empathy for the suffering of others.
Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori's Visit to Northern Bypass Livestock Market
On Wednesday night, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori visited the livestock market at Northern Bypass. People present at the market expressed pleasant surprise at seeing the public governor. The administration of the livestock market welcomed the governor and provided him with a detailed briefing about the market.
Governor Sindh interacted with traders and buyers regarding the available facilities. He also showed affection towards the sacrificial animals present in the market and inquired about their prices from the traders.
Speaking to the media, Governor Sindh said that excellent arrangements have been made for buyers and traders in the livestock market.
He further stated that this livestock market is honored to be the largest in Asia, and he has instructed the IG Sindh Police to implement additional security measures in the market.
In response to a question, Governor Sindh mentioned that, like last year, 100 camels will be sacrificed at the Governor House this year as well. He urged wealthy individuals to ensure meat provision for the poor throughout the year, as inflation has made it difficult for the common man to afford meat.
