The decision to pass the constitutional amendment bill from the National Assembly and Senate today has been made. The government has secured the support of Maulana Fazlur Rehman and addressed the concerns of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI). Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has also made an entry in this matter, while the schedule of the parliamentary special committee, National Assembly, and Senate sessions have been changed. A federal cabinet meeting will begin shortly, where the draft of the constitutional bill will be approved.

Government Addresses Maulana Fazlur Rehman's Concerns

Regarding the constitutional amendment, the government has addressed the concerns of JUI chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari played a mediator role between the government and Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

According to sources, Maulana Fazlur Rehman will support the government on the constitutional amendment. The constitutional amendment is a comprehensive package that includes the formation of a constitutional court, and a procedure for appointing judges to this court is also being established.

Sources indicate that new appointments for judges will be made for the constitutional court. The purpose of creating the constitutional court is to provide relief to ordinary litigants.

Sources say that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari played the role of mediator between the government and Maulana Fazlur Rehman. In the meeting held last night, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Maulana Fazlur Rehman resolved the conflicting issues, following which the constitutional amendment is expected to be presented in the National Assembly and Senate today.

Government sources claim that they have sufficient numbers in the National Assembly and Senate. Amendments related to votes from dissident members are also being made, and a draft to amend Article 63A of the Constitution is ready.

Government sources have claimed that they have completed the numbers game for constitutional amendments in the Senate as well.

Earlier, PML-N leader and National Assembly member Tariq Fazal Chaudhry also claimed that the government has the necessary numbers for the constitutional amendment.

Nawaz Sharif's returned to the country

PML-N President Nawaz Sharif has returned to the country and will attend the National Assembly session. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif welcomed Nawaz Sharif at the Prime Minister's House, and both discussed the proposed package of constitutional reforms.

According to sources, Hamza Shehbaz Sharif was also present at the meeting. The Prime Minister briefed Nawaz Sharif on contacts with Maulana Fazlur Rehman and other political parties.

Delay in Federal Cabinet Meeting Again

Changes are being made to the constitutional package, and last-minute amendments have been made to the draft of the constitutional amendments. However, the federal cabinet meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, has been delayed again. The new time for the federal cabinet meeting will be announced later.

Sources said that the time for the federal cabinet meeting was set for 3 PM, but federal ministers have not yet arrived for the meeting.

According to staff outside the committee room, the federal cabinet meeting is on hold, and the start time has not yet been decided.

It should be noted that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had called a federal cabinet meeting today, initially scheduled for 12 PM. Later, the time was changed to 3 PM.

Sources say that the constitutional amendments draft will be approved in the federal cabinet meeting.

Change in National Assembly Session Time

The time of today's important National Assembly session has been changed. The session will now be held at 4 PM, and the constitutional amendments bill is not included in the agenda.

The National Assembly session was initially called for 11:30 AM, and a six-point agenda was issued. However, the session's time has now been changed to 4 PM instead of 11:30 AM.

The change in the National Assembly session time was made on the special recommendation of the special parliamentary committee. The special session continued for some time, and committee members requested time to consult their leadership.

After the 10 AM meeting, the committee requested the Speaker to allow more time for decisions on important matters. The Speaker then changed the session time, and the National Assembly Secretariat issued a notice of the change.

The six-point agenda of the National Assembly session does not include the constitutional amendments bill, but it will be included as a supplementary agenda if the numbers are sufficient.

The agenda for today's National Assembly session includes a question-and-answer period and two attention-grabbing notices.

The agenda also includes expressing gratitude for the President's address to the joint session of Parliament and members' points of order.

Additionally, the government's proposed constitutional amendments bill is expected to be presented through a supplementary agenda.

JUI-F's Role Becomes Crucial for Constitutional Amendment Approval

JUI-F's role has become crucial for the approval of the constitutional amendment from the National Assembly. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has met Maulana Fazlur Rehman twice in recent days, while President Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also requested support for the constitutional amendment.

Furthermore, last night, a delegation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf also met Maulana Fazlur Rehman at his residence.

Change in Senate Session Time

Following the National Assembly session, the time for the Senate session has also been changed. The session will now begin at 7 PM instead of 4 PM.

The Senate session was initially scheduled to start at 4 PM, but it will now begin at 7 PM.

According to sources, the Senate session time was changed on the government's proposal, and the notification of the change has been issued.

The Senate Secretariat has issued a five-point agenda for the session, and no item related to the constitutional amendment is included in the agenda.

The agenda for the Senate session includes two attention-grabbing notices, and a motion by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar to suspend the question hour is also part of the agenda.
