Imran Khan Attacked Constitutional Institutions Last Night, He Will Face the Consequences: Bilawal Bhutto

Chairman of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, criticized former Prime Minister Imran Khan, stating that last night, prisoner number 804 (Imran Khan) allegedly made political accusations against the Army Chief in his statement and adopted a contemptuous attitude toward the Chief Justice. Bilawal warned that if the founder of PTI made these statements, he would have to face the consequences.

The National Assembly is currently in session under the chairmanship of Deputy Speaker Ghulam Mustafa Shah. At the beginning of the session, the newly elected MNA from Rahim Yar Khan, Makhdoom Tahir Rasheeduddin, took his oath. It is expected that the 26th constitutional amendment, related to the judiciary, will be presented by Federal Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Azam Nazir Tarar, requiring a two-thirds majority for approval.

Speaking during the session, Bilawal expressed gratitude to the people of Rahim Yar Khan for defeating the politics of hatred, division, and abusive language. He congratulated Tahir Rasheeduddin for being elected to the National Assembly.

Bilawal said that the people of Punjab had elected a PPP candidate, defeating the politics of slander and hatred. He commended the party's Southern Punjab organization, stating that their elected representatives are fearless and unyielding.

He emphasized that these party members can confront any challenges and lauded the PPP’s Southern Punjab organization for standing firm against lies using the power of votes. He questioned whether the losers were ready to accept their defeat.

A Major Revelation is Coming on the Propaganda Around Forms 45 and 47

Bilawal stated that for democracy to progress, people’s decisions must be trusted, and their choices accepted for the strengthening of democracy. He hinted at a major revelation regarding the propaganda around Forms 45 and 47, saying that when the truth is exposed, the accusers won’t be able to face the public.

Bilawal accused prisoner number 804 (Imran Khan) of making political allegations against the Army Chief and launching attacks on every constitutional institution to further his politics. He claimed that last night, another attack on democracy was made.

He further remarked that the people of Pakistan are not standing with prisoner number 804 anymore, who has attacked every institution in a bid to seek relief. Bilawal urged PTI to investigate if the statement truly belongs to their founder, as the alleged statement also contained contemptuous remarks against the Chief Justice.

Bilawal warned that if Imran Khan indeed made such statements, he would have to face the consequences as per the constitution and law, and any subsequent grievances from his party should not be blamed on others. If these statements were made, the issues it creates for him, his party, and potentially for the democratic system of Pakistan would be his responsibility.

Bilawal also demanded that if Imran Khan did not make the statement, then the Leader of the Opposition or the party's chairman should clarify whether the Twitter account was operated by Ali Amin or Sher Afzal Marwat, and whether Imran Khan had no involvement. He stressed that this clarification is crucial as these accusations have persisted since the no-confidence motion was brought forward. The conspiracy, Bilawal added, began when some within the institution and the party started efforts to seize power, the first attack being the rejection of the no-confidence motion and the violation of the constitution. Subsequent efforts were made to hold elections before the Army Chief's appointment and to make the appointment controversial. Anchors and politicians were launched under a coordinated plan to conspire against their own Army Chief.

Leader of the Opposition, Omar Ayub, while addressing the National Assembly session, remarked that Bilawal Bhutto's speech seemed as if he had practiced for two days in the office of DG ISPR, implying that the DG ISPR was training Bilawal Bhutto well.

He further stated that the founder of PTI still stands by every word he has said, and they accept what the founder has stated. He expressed confidence that the PTI founder would return to the assembly.

Omar Ayub also mentioned that the Chief Justice of Pakistan should not hear the cases of PTI and its founder. He rejected and condemned the remarks Bilawal Bhutto made about his leader.

When Imran Khan Calls for People to Take to the Streets, They Will Forget Bangladesh: Barrister Gohar

Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Barrister Gohar, while speaking at the National Assembly session, said that when the founder of PTI calls for people to take to the streets, they will forget about Bangladesh. He emphasized that they do not want to turn Pakistan into Rwanda, and if they are to represent the people, they must forget who is good or bad.

He added that during a committee meeting, it was mentioned that they do not want VIP culture. If they
need to take a step back to move forward, they will do so.

Barrister Gohar also referred to Khawaja Asif’s mention of Nelson Mandela, stating that Mandela sacrificed his wife and stood with the people.

He noted that if anyone does not wish to remain part of the committee, they can inform the Speaker. He warned that 70% of Pakistan supports PTI, and the day the PTI founder starts a hunger strike, the parliament will lose in the battle between victory and defeat.

The PTI Chairman criticized Bilawal's remarks, saying the way Bilawal spoke marks the downfall of his party's leadership. He sarcastically suggested that Bilawal perhaps reached his position with a fake Oxford degree. He stressed the need to draw a line between whether the parliament or something else is stronger, mentioning that parliament spent 65 million rupees in a single day but only 115 minutes were spent on legislation, during which there was nothing but insults.

Barrister Gohar highlighted that Yusuf Raza Gilani’s son was arrested at the Supreme Court gate, Shahabuddin was taken from his home, and questioned who made Raja Pervez Ashraf the Prime Minister. He stressed that they wanted to move forward and there had been no bitter exchanges from their side.

He concluded by asserting that the current government has witnessed the most human rights violations, and told Khawaja Asif that they should sit together with an open heart to resolve these issues.
