We Don't Want Conflict with Anyone, Our Goal is Not to Harm Anyone: Ali Amin Gandapur

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur criticized the federal government and its allies, stating that peaceful protest is their constitutional right. He emphasized that they do not seek conflict with anyone and that their aim is not to harm anyone.

According to a statement issued from the Chief Minister's House in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur met with members of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) from all four regions of the province, as well as other party leaders. The meetings focused on detailed consultations regarding preparations for the peaceful protest in Islamabad on October 4, with a strategy finalized to ensure maximum participation.

During the meetings, party leaders and elected representatives were assigned responsibilities to ensure a large turnout for the protest.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur stated that efforts should be made to mobilize as many party workers and the public as possible for the peaceful protest. He added that the convoys from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will reach Islamabad in an organized manner, and party leaders will have to take charge and play a leadership role.

Ali Amin Gandapur urged leaders to ensure discipline within the convoys and adherence to the planned strategy. He reiterated that they will exercise their democratic right in a peaceful manner, and harming anyone is not their objective.

He further said, "We do not want conflict with anyone. The police officers are our brothers, and their loss is our loss. The current federal government is using dirty tactics to block our way."

Criticizing the federal government and its allies, he asserted that peaceful protest is their constitutional and democratic right, which they will definitely exercise. He mentioned that the public perceives the government's actions and measures as wrong, and they are trying to weaken PTI under the guise of constitutional amendments.

The Chief Minister recalled that poor planning during the previous protest forced them to retreat halfway. He noted that the workers and leaders lacked quality masks and protective gear, but this time, a trained and specialized unit will be sent ahead of the convoys.

He added that the machinery will move ahead of the convoys, unlike the last time when it was behind them. If the roads are blocked, it may take several days to reach D-Chowk. The convoys will leave with full preparation, departing from Peshawar at 11 a.m. and from Swabi after 12 p.m. It was also decided in the meeting that the Chief Minister himself will lead all the convoys heading to the protest.
