Oppo Find X8 Series Set for Global Launch on November 21

Following its recent launch in China, Oppo has announced that the Find X8 series will soon be available worldwide.

Oppo's Chief Product Officer, Pete Lau, confirmed that the global release date for the Oppo Find X8 series is November 21. This launch will bring both the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro to Europe, parts of Asia, and more, although a U.S. release is not expected.

The Find X8 series represents Oppo's latest camera-focused flagship lineup and is the first global launch for an Oppo flagship device in several years, the last being the Find X5 in 2022.

Oppo’s latest flagships are powered by MediaTek's new Dimensity 9400 chip, feature large batteries, and come equipped with enhanced camera capabilities. Notably, the Find X8 Pro includes a touch- and pressure-sensitive side key that can launch the camera, control zoom, and capture photos.

Key Features of the Find X8 Series

The Oppo Find X8 series is equipped with MediaTek’s advanced chip, "Mag" charging accessories, and a dedicated shutter button, supporting enhanced global usability.

The Find X8 Pro stands out with a 6.78-inch display, a massive 5,910mAh battery, and four rear cameras, each with 50-megapixel sensors. Two of these cameras are telephoto lenses—one with 3x zoom and the other with 6x zoom. The device includes a "camera control" shutter button similar to Apple's, allowing users to press to launch the camera or swipe to adjust the zoom. A "Quick Button" feature enables double-press functionality, and an alert slider is available on the opposite side.

The standard Find X8 model is slightly scaled-down, with a smaller 6.59-inch display, no 6x telephoto camera, and a 5,630mAh battery. However, it still includes the same powerful chip and core features.

Oppo is also introducing "Mag" charging accessories with these phones. These 50W wireless chargers work like Apple's MagSafe but are integrated into Oppo's first-party cases rather than directly into the device.

This global launch is a significant move for Oppo, which has been absent from the international flagship scene since the Find X5. Pete Lau has confirmed that, while the release will not include the U.S. market, more details about the launch will be shared soon.

In China, the Oppo Find X8 starts at 4,199 CNY, with the Pro model priced from 5,299 CNY.
