According to sources, former Prime Minister Imran Khan is reportedly displeased with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and PTI Information Secretary Sheikh Waqas Akram.
Sources revealed that during a meeting with lawyers, Imran Khan mentioned both Ali Amin Gandapur and Sheikh Waqas Akram. The PTI chairman remarked that Sheikh Waqas Akram is the party's information secretary, not Ali Amin Gandapur’s, and instructed that Ali Amin Gandapur should be advised to step out of Dera Ismail Khan.
Reportedly, Imran Khan has directed his lawyer to convey a message to Sheikh Waqas Akram and Ali Amin Gandapur.
In addition, Imran Khan announced observing "Black Day" on February 8 and instructed the party to gear up for protests.
Sources further stated that the PTI chairman has directed all MNAs and MPAs to prepare for protests in their respective constituencies.
Moreover, Imran Khan has advised the party leadership to avoid making statements against Maulana Fazlur Rehman and has urged them to take opposition leaders, including Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, into confidence.
According to sources, the PTI chairman stressed that both the party and Maulana Fazlur Rehman share a similar stance on terrorism in Afghanistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He also reiterated that Sheikh Waqas Akram should represent the party, not Ali Amin Gandapur, and reminded that Barrister Saif is the official spokesperson of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.
Imran Khan concluded by urging preparations for protests and confirming the observance of a "Black Day" on February 8.
