Conflicts within MQM-Pakistan have intensified as party workers stormed the Bahadurabad office, protesting against the division of organizational affairs. The protesters declared that the party will be run from Bahadurabad, not the Governor House, and chanted slogans like "Go Governor Go" and "Go Tessori Go."
Workers suddenly stormed the MQM-Pakistan headquarters in Bahadurabad, strongly objecting to the division of organizational matters. They alleged that despite the central office being in Bahadurabad, key party decisions were being made from the Governor House.
According to the protesters, a circular was issued the previous day without consultation, sparking widespread objections among workers. A large number of MQM workers remain gathered at the Bahadurabad office.
Protests against new organizational appointments continued at the temporary party center, where tensions escalated, leading to physical altercations between workers and party leaders.
Furthermore, the increasing internal conflicts have put the MQM-PSP merger at risk, as many party leaders are displeased with the distribution of organizational positions.
Amid the tensions, MQM’s Member of the National Assembly, Syed Mustafa Kamal, and senior leader Anis Kaimkhani have also exited the party's official WhatsApp group.
