Thatta: Attack on Kheel Das Kohistani's Vehicle, Minister of State Remains Safe

An attack was carried out on the vehicle of Minister of State for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Kheel Das Kohistani, near Thatta by unidentified individuals. He remained unharmed in the incident.

PML-N leader and Minister of State Kheel Das Kohistani was traveling from Thatta to Karachi when some miscreants attacked his vehicle.

Speaking to the media, Minister Kheel Das said he was on his way from Thatta to Sujawal when around a dozen activists of a nationalist party suddenly attacked in the middle of the city. They were carrying party flags and chanting slogans against the construction of canals.

The PML-N leader stated that as soon as the attack began, his driver quickly drove the vehicle away from the scene. After that, other vehicles in his convoy were targeted.

He said that the vehicles in his convoy were first pelted with stones and then attacked with sticks. Although he himself remained unharmed, some of his companions were injured, and their vehicles were also damaged.

In response to a question, he claimed that the attack was a premeditated conspiracy intended to harm him.

Meanwhile, PML-N Sindh spokesperson Asad Usmani stated that the attack took place while the party leader was en route from Thatta to Karachi. However, the police present in the convoy thwarted the attack through timely action.

Asad Usmani added that the top leadership of PML-N has been informed, and all party leaders have been summoned to the Pakistan Muslim League House in Sindh. A strategy will be decided immediately, and a press conference will also be held.
