Admissions Begin for 11th Grade Across Sindh, Domicile Requirement Removed

The Sindh government has removed the requirement for a student’s own domicile for 11th-grade admissions. Previously, it was necessary to present the student's domicile, but now only the father's domicile will be accepted. Also, results of 5th and 8th grades are no longer required for admission. Admissions have officially started this year in 375 colleges across Sindh, including 154 in Karachi.

Admissions for 11th grade have begun across Sindh, including Karachi. This year, the government has abolished the condition of submitting a student’s domicile and Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC).

Director General of Colleges, Naveed Rabbani, stated that admissions will now be granted on the basis of the father's domicile. Even students who have failed two papers in 9th grade will be allowed admission.

So far, 18,756 applications have been received in Karachi's 154 colleges. Other regions reported the following: 883 in Hyderabad, 456 in Mirpurkhas, 320 in Nawabshah, 345 in Larkana, and 364 in Sukkur.

Most applications have been received from Karachi. To facilitate students and parents, 29 help centers have been established. This year, results of 5th and 8th grade are not required for admission. Instead, the admission form will require the father's domicile, CNIC, and mobile number.

The admission process will continue from June 15 to July 15, with admission lists to be displayed starting from June 22.

Students are advised to visit their respective colleges and confirm their admission once the lists are posted. Those who do not confirm their admission will be removed from the list and their seats will be offered to other students.
