Back in 2022, T-Mobile and Google launched an exclusive plan called “2TB + Unlimited Google Photos.” Available only to active T-Mobile customers, the subscription offered 2TB of Google One storage plus unlimited Google Photos backups that didn’t count against your storage quota — all for just $15 per month, making it an exceptional deal.
But that deal is now gone.
As of September 30, T-Mobile has officially shut down enrollment for this plan, cutting off the last remaining pathway to unlimited Google Photos storage. Starting September 30, 2025, new sign-ups through T-Mobile will no longer be possible.
Current subscribers have confirmed that existing unlimited photo plans will continue to work, but no new customers can join. That also means users cannot switch to one of Google’s new AI-focused One plans and then return — if you cancel or change your subscription, the unlimited photo perk is gone for good.
Are you one of the users who still had this plan? Share your thoughts in the comments below on Google’s decision to end it.
