The Sindh High Court (SHC) has rejected the petition against the approval of PPP candidate Palwasha Khan nomination papers and declared him eligible for the Senate election, while Postpone the hearing of petition against the approval of the nomination papers of PTI candidate Faisal Wawda for an indefinite period.
The petition filed against the nomination papers of PPP candidate Palwasha Khan was filed by the Indus Indus Lawyers Forum.
During the hearing, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar said that the shortcomings in the nomination papers should satisfy us, to which the counsel for the petitioner said that the vote of Palwasha Khan was illegally transferred from Punjab to Sindh.
The court said that if the vote was transferred from Punjab to Sindh, then what is against the law? The court rejected the petition against the acceptance of Palwasha Khan's nomination papers and declared her eligible for the Senate election.
The court said that our hearing is limited at the moment, many things we cannot hear in the petition.
On the other hand, the court adjourned the hearing indefinitely due to the absence of petitioner Qadir Khan Mandokhel on the petition filed against the approval of nomination papers of ruling party PTI candidate Faisal Wawda.
It should be noted that the petitioner has accused Faisal Wawda of concealing dual citizenship.
