Senate election, PTI leader not allowed to vote again

 

Minister of State Shehryar Afridi was not allowed to vote again in the Senate elections.

According to details, Shahriar Afridi had again applied to the Returning Officer for the ballot paper.

Shahriar Afridi had appealed to the returning officer saying that he was not feeling well for a few days. When he reached to cast his vote, he asked his staff, "Your staff failed to guide me." I could not participate so I should be allowed to cast my vote again.

It may be recalled that the Returning Officer had reserved the decision of Shehryar Afridi's written application.

It should be noted that Shehryar Afridi had signed in front of the candidate in the box instead of the preferred number.
