Senator Faisal Vawda, referring to the notice of his press conference taken by the Supreme Court, said, "I still stand by my press conference. I did not mention any judge's name, but if you accuse me, I will demand evidence from you, and you will have to provide it."
While speaking on Geo News program "Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Sath," Faisal Vawda stated, "I am getting an opportunity to appear before an honest Chief Justice, and I will present other evidence, including the big files related to the Arshad Sharif murder case, which will make them happy too. A Pakistani has come so far."
He said, "If anyone shows me that Faisal Vawda is someone's proxy, if any judge openly accuses me, then they will have to prove it because I can sacrifice my life and honor, but I won't step back."
He mentioned that if Tehreek-e-Insaf's Rauf Hassan and other famous personalities are not summoned for calling Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa and Justice Aamer Farooq "toothless" in the media, then it's not fair. However, if Faisal Vawda questions Justice Babar Sattar's appointment, which doesn't raise any questions about his eligibility, then it's taken up.
Senior politicians said, "I said in the press conference that if someone challenges my position, I'll turn their turban into a football. I'm that kind of person. If you show me respect, I'll double it. If you mistreat me, I'll double that too. I'm not a hypocrite."
He said, "I generally said that if someone challenges my position, I'll turn their turban into a football. I did not mention any judge's name. If the judges have taken off someone's turban, they can discuss it personally."
His point was, "If I questioned Babar Sattar's appointment, asking where the legal documentation is, did I commit a crime? If you want to hang me like Bhutto, I'm ready. If you accuse me, I'll demand evidence from you. If you accuse me, you'll have to provide proof. The law that applies to you will apply to me as well. It will apply to judges and generals too."
Faisal Vawda said, "If I have to seek forgiveness even for a minor mistake, I'll ask for forgiveness from everyone. You'll remember that there was immense pressure from Imran Khan and all the influential people in Pakistan for me to apologize for keeping the military boot, but I said I won't apologize because I never attacked the army."
Responding to a question about the pressure from General Bajwa, General Faiz, and Imran Khan to apologize for keeping the boot and to seek forgiveness, he said, "Yes, sir, there was pressure. If I didn't make a mistake, I'd cut my head off, and if I did make a mistake, I'd seek forgiveness."
It's clear that the Supreme Court had taken notice of the press conference held by Faisal Vawda himself.
Senator Faisal Vawda, while holding a press conference in Islamabad, had targeted the judges of the Islamabad High Court and said, "Now if someone challenges a Pakistani, we'll turn their turbans into footballs."
Remember that yesterday, while holding a press conference in Islamabad, Senator Faisal Vawda had said, "I wrote a letter to the Islamabad High Court. It's been 15 days and there's been no response. Under Article 19-A, I should be given a response. Babar Sattar says that before becoming a judge, Chief Justice Atar Minallah reported this. We said that there would be something inside the record room in writing, but we are not getting any response."
He said, "Under Article 19-A, Chief Justice Pakistan Justice Qazi Faez Isa ordered that every Pakistani can ask anyone anything. If a senator is not getting an answer, then there is confusion. Doubts are emerging about the logic behind it."
