Israeli Forces Panic, Kill Their Own Personnel
In the war against Hamas, Israeli forces, in a state of panic, have mistakenly killed their own personnel.
Israeli forces became confused during direct confrontation with Hamas and, in a state of disarray, killed five of their own officers.
Additionally, seven Israeli personnel were injured by their own forces. An Israeli tank fired shells at the Jabalia refugee camp, attacking after seeing a gun barrel protruding from a window.
Israeli personnel had taken positions in the Jabalia refugee camp. Israeli officials have stated that an investigation is underway to determine how the identification of the soldiers was mistaken.
The Israeli military reported that in the past 24 hours, 15 more soldiers were injured near the Gaza and Lebanon borders. The statement indicated that 11 soldiers were injured in ground fighting in Gaza, and four were injured near the Israel-Lebanon border.
According to the latest military statistics, since the Gaza conflict began on October 7, at least 626 Israeli soldiers have been killed and 3,494 injured.
Israeli Tanks Target Their Own Soldiers in Northern Gaza
In northern Gaza, Israeli tanks mistakenly targeted their own soldiers, resulting in the deaths of five Israeli soldiers due to shelling on a building by an Israeli tank.
Along with the announcement of sending additional troops to the Rafah area in southern Gaza, Israeli military attacks on residential areas in Gaza continue, resulting in the deaths of over 40 Palestinians in the past 24 hours.
According to the United Nations, Israel has expanded the scope of the war to 78% of Gaza. The World Food Programme has warned that its food and fuel supplies in Gaza will only last for a few more days, cautioning that further Israeli advancements could lead to a "humanitarian catastrophe."
Meanwhile, in northern Israel, five Israeli soldiers were injured in a Hezbollah drone attack, which also damaged an Israeli military installation.
In a related development, a Jewish official in the Biden administration has resigned from her position in protest of the U.S. support for Israel's ongoing aggression in Gaza.
