Statement against Shibli Faraz and Umar Ayub, show cause notice issued to Sher Afzal Marwat

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has issued a show-cause notice to its leader and Member of the National Assembly Sheer Afzal Marwat.

According to Dawn News, Secretary General Omar Ayub has issued a show-cause notice to Sheer Afzal Marwat for making irresponsible statements.

Omar Ayub stated in his notice that such statements cause harm to the party's image, and it is a clear directive of the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf that irresponsible statements should not be made.

According to the show-cause notice, the actions of Sheer Afzal Marwat have caused embarrassment to the party and its members, which is why disciplinary action will be taken against him.

PTI has demanded clarification from Sheer Afzal Marwat within 3 days, stating that if he fails to provide a satisfactory response within the specified time, further action will be taken under party discipline.

What Did Sheer Afzal Marwat Say?

It is worth noting that PTI's Member of the National Assembly Sheer Afzal Marwat had previously accused both America and Saudi Arabia of conspiring to overthrow PTI's government.

PTI had expressed no association with his remarks publicly, but Sheer Afzal Marwat stated that it was his personal opinion and he stands by it.

A few days ago, while speaking to the media in Rawalpindi, Sheer Afzal Marwat said that Omar Ayub and Shibli Faraz did not allow him to meet the founder of PTI.

He said that obstacles can be created by jail authorities in meetings, those who are on top can also create obstacles, I came for the founder of PTI, I came for freedom.

Sheer Afzal Marwat said that the agenda for which I came has now ended, PTI has been misled on every issue, these people should come and lead, I will follow them.
