According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, more than 50% of the wealth increase among the top 100 billionaires belongs to the top 10 individuals. Their collective wealth has risen by approximately $191 billion.
As of January 23, 2025, the total wealth of the 100 richest billionaires has reached $5.82 trillion, with the top 10 alone holding $2.1 trillion. Bloomberg data also reveals that the combined wealth of the world’s 500 richest individuals has surpassed $10 trillion.
The report highlights that Elon Musk remains the world’s wealthiest person, with a net worth of $440 billion, having gained $8 billion in the first 23 days of this year.
Jeff Bezos holds a total of $254 billion, with a $15 billion increase this year. Mark Zuckerberg follows with $221 billion, having gained $13 billion so far.
Larry Ellison's wealth stands at $209 billion, with a $17 billion increase in just 23 days. Bernard Arnault’s wealth is $197 billion, with the highest gain of $21 billion this year.
Larry Page has $176 billion, gaining $8 billion in 2025, while Sergey Brin's wealth totals $166 billion, with $7 billion added this year.
Bill Gates holds $165 billion, including $6 billion gained this year. Steve Ballmer’s wealth has risen to $155 billion, with an $8 billion increase. Lastly, Warren Buffett has $144 billion, with $2 billion added to his fortune in the first 23 days of the year.
