Google Home speaker is coming in 2026

Gemini will first roll out across every smart device Google has launched over the past decade — and next year, the all-new Google Home speaker will arrive for $99.99.

Specifically engineered and built “for Gemini,” the speaker features custom processing hardware designed to handle the AI’s most advanced capabilities, delivering faster, smoother, and more natural interactions. It’s also built to meet the heavy technical demands of Gemini Live, Google’s next-generation conversational mode.

This is Google’s first major smart speaker since 2020, offering balanced, room-filling 360-degree audio that covers the entire sound spectrum — except for the deepest sub-bass — and includes a light ring that dynamically shows when Gemini is listening, thinking, reasoning, responding, or actively in Live mode. As always, a physical mute switch is included for microphone control.

With a dome-shaped top and softly curved sides, the device is produced using a 3D-knitting process that significantly reduces fabric waste, making it a more sustainable choice.

Users will be able to pair two speakers with a Google TV streaming device to build a full immersive home theater system. It will also support stereo pairing and multi-room grouping with existing Nest speakers for a seamless audio experience throughout the home.

The Google Home speaker will be offered in four colorways: Berry (pink/red), Hazel (black/charcoal), Jade (light green), and Porcelain (gray/white).

The device is set to launch in spring 2026 across 19 countries, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand.
