Sindh Minister Nasir Hussain Shah has said that an FIR will be registered against K-Electric if there is any death due to load shedding during the heatwave.
Speaking in the Sindh Assembly session, Provincial Minister Nasir Hussain Shah said that there is a heatwave from May 22 to 27, we have taken measures, all departments have been directed to be alert.
MQM MPA Ali Khursheed said that if jobs were given on merit, there would be no stay.
Provincial Minister Nasir Hussain Shah replied that there were as many employees as needed in the energy department, all recruitments are being done on merit.
MQM MPA Muhammad Muzaffar Amir, expressing his opinion during the question-answer session, said that load shedding is also happening in areas with 80 to 85 percent recovery, will we contact K-Electric?
Provincial Minister Nasir Hussain Shah replied in the House that I agree, load shedding is happening unannounced in many areas, we have also met with the federal government in this regard along with the Chief Minister of Sindh.
He said that it was told in the meeting that many feeders of K-Electric, Hesco and Sepco remain closed for days, there are also other problems in K-Electric, they were also discussed.
Nasir Hussain Shah said that Saeed Ghani has scheduled a meeting on Friday against the excesses of K-Electric, I invite other members as well, represent yourself in this meeting, overbilling and unannounced load shedding should be ended.
