The federal government has submitted photos of former Prime Minister Imran Khan's prison cell to the Supreme Court.
According to Dawn News, the government denied claims that Imran Khan's lawyers were denied access to him. In response to Imran Khan's assertions, the federal government submitted additional documents to the Supreme Court, including a list of meetings between the PTI founder and his family and legal team.
The federal government’s report stated that the PTI founder claimed in the Supreme Court that he was not given access to his lawyers, and his claim of being in solitary confinement was also incorrect. The report suggested that if the court deemed it appropriate, a commission could be appointed to verify Imran Khan's statements against the facts.
The report noted that the former Prime Minister has been provided with books, an air cooler, TV, and all necessary facilities in jail.

It should be noted that on May 30, during the hearing of petitions against NAB amendments in the Supreme Court, former Prime Minister Imran Khan had stated that he was being kept in solitary confinement.
Imran Khan told the Chief Justice that there is a one-window operation in the jail managed by a colonel, and requested the Chief Justice to order that he be allowed to meet his legal team, as he was being denied such meetings. He claimed he had no material to prepare his case and no access to a library.
The Chief Justice remarked that Imran Khan would be provided with the necessary materials and meetings with his lawyers, but if he used the services of the legal team, then he would not be heard.
