Subsequently, a five-member PTI delegation was granted permission to meet the Founder.
According to jail sources, when the delegation arrived at Adiala, the PTI Founder reprimanded the party leaders. The Founder said, "You people are of no use to me; the plan to get me out of jail was not executed. I had asked to continue protests, but all of your protests flopped. I told you to protest at the SCO, but even that was not followed."
Imran Khan reiterated that only by following his plan could he be released.
Sources mentioned that the meeting between the PTI Founder and the party leaders remained incomplete.
After the meeting, speaking to the media at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House in Islamabad, PTI Chairman said that the meeting with the PTI Founder lasted 45 minutes and, thankfully, the Founder is healthy.
Barrister Gohar stated that there had been no electricity in Imran Khan's cell for five days, and he had not received any newspapers for two weeks. He also added that the PTI Founder remains in high spirits, but his rights should be upheld. He has been deprived of TV and newspaper facilities for two weeks and was unaware of the political situation. He was also informed about his sister's arrest.
Barrister Gohar said the Founder Chairman praised Maulana Fazlur Rahman's role and added that the consultation with him was not yet complete. He instructed that consultations with Maulana Fazlur Rahman should continue. Without consulting Imran Khan, they would not vote on the constitutional amendment. He mentioned that PTI is the largest party in Parliament, and Maulana Fazlur Rahman will support them in Parliament.
Furthermore, he added that Ali Amin Gandapur has the PTI Founder's support, and they hope that Maulana Fazlur Rahman will remain with them.
Barrister Gohar said they had expected a one-and-a-half-hour meeting, but halfway through, they were asked to leave. The Founder Chairman has named four individuals to be sent for further consultation, and they will try to meet the Founder Chairman again on Monday.
At this point, PTI leader Asad Qaiser said, "Has such a constitutional amendment ever happened in history? Are laws made by intimidating women and children? We condemn the abduction of people."
Asad Qaiser stated that they are confident no PTI member will defect and that anyone who does will betray Pakistan and the PTI Founder.
