An official blog post announced that the update introduces several significant enhancements to transform mobile devices into professional-grade camera systems. While Blackmagic Camera 2.0 for Android includes various new features for specific phones, the headline upgrade is its support for the Galaxy Tab S9 and Xiaomi Pad 6. No other Android tablets have been officially listed, but sideloading the app may work. The interface has been slightly adjusted to accommodate larger screens, though Blackmagic hasn't confirmed if all camera modes are included.
