It’s no secret that the Find N5 is highly likely to be the base model for the OnePlus Open 2. We saw this pattern with the Find N3 and the original Open, and it seems to be repeating. If these leaks are anything to go by, both foldable devices are shaping up to be top-tier in terms of hardware.
Fresh leaks have emerged via Evan Blass’ newsletter, revealing the Find N5 in three colors: purple, white, and black. The images display the phone in various stages, from fully closed to fully open, highlighting its sleek and slim profile. While previous leaks provided a better sense of its thinness in comparison, these new images still give us a clear idea of what to expect from the OnePlus Open 2.
One of the key takeaways from this leak is our first complete look at the phone, which emphasizes just how thin it really is. The body and frame resemble the Find N3 and OnePlus Open but with a refined design. Notably, OnePlus is expected to introduce a different camera design in its version.
A noticeable change is the significantly thinner bezels around the screen, leaving minimal space beside the outer display. This is a major improvement that stands out in the foldable market. For instance, the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold still has a substantial border on the left side of its outer display, whereas the Find N5 eliminates this, allowing the glass to seamlessly blend with the hinge.
There is no official word yet on the availability or pricing of either device, but a release is expected soon.
