Samsung Rolls Out One UI 7 Beta 4 for Galaxy S24

Samsung Rolls Out One UI 7 Beta 4 for Galaxy S24

While most users are eagerly waiting for the official release of One UI 7, Samsung is still fine-tuning things. The One UI 7 Beta 4 update is now rolling out to Galaxy S24 devices in select regions. Hopefully, this will be the final pre-release version before the stable update arrives.

One UI 7 introduces a host of improvements, though so far, the only device to launch with the full version is the Galaxy S25. This new update brings AI-powered features and system-wide quality-of-life enhancements, making it one of the most anticipated updates for Samsung’s Galaxy lineup.

Currently, One UI 7 Beta 4 is available for Galaxy S24 users in South Korea (as reported by SamMobile). Since the beta program is already live in other regions, the update should soon expand to Europe and the U.S. The update comes as a 1.4GB package, which isn’t too large.

According to Samsung’s changelog, some noteworthy additions include an AI-powered camera filter and support for LOG video format. LOG recording was first announced for the Galaxy S25, and it was expected to arrive on older Galaxy devices—so it’s good to see it finally happening.

Beta 4 also addresses multiple bug fixes and refinements, including issues with the Quick Panel UI, alarm glitches, and fingerprint reader performance. Since this is still a beta version, more fixes are expected in the next update. Ideally, the next release for the Galaxy S24 will be the final One UI 7 version.

Samsung hasn’t yet confirmed an official release date for One UI 7. Initially, it was expected to roll out shortly after the Galaxy S25 launch, but that timeline has already passed. While this latest beta suggests at least one more test version remains, it’s unclear if additional beta updates are on the way.
