According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the 268th Corps Commanders Conference was held under the chairmanship of General Syed Asim Munir, who holds the military honor of Nishan-e-Imtiaz. Participants paid tribute to the unmatched sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces, law enforcement agencies, and civilians for the peace and stability of the nation.
The forum was briefed on the current regional situation and national security challenges. A comprehensive review of both regional and internal security conditions was conducted.
ISPR's statement emphasized that the forum reaffirmed its commitment to eliminating terrorism without discrimination and at all costs.
It also reiterated that no one will be allowed to disturb peace in Balochistan, and that the attempts to spread unrest in the province have already been exposed. There will be no forgiveness for such actions. The state will deal with anti-state elements with full force.
The participants pledged to confront not only terrorists but also their facilitators and supporters. They vowed to thwart all malicious political agendas. The true faces of both domestic and foreign elements have been exposed, along with their collusion in Balochistan.
The forum stressed the effective implementation of the "Azm-e-Istihkam" (Resolve for Stability) strategy. It was agreed that state institutions will ensure the rule of law and act strictly within the constitutional framework, with zero tolerance for lawlessness.
General Asim Munir stated that all institutions must cooperate in implementing the National Action Plan. He expressed determination to take strict legal action against the financing of terrorism and reiterated that the Pakistan Army will fully support the government.
He emphasized that the military will provide unwavering support to law enforcement agencies and declared that there is no space for terrorists or their facilitators in Pakistan.
