According to Business Insider, MrBeast intends to debut a mobile service provider next year. Executives at MrBeast Industries are said to be weighing opportunities not only in telecom but also in fintech and mobile gaming.
The project centers on establishing a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO)—a model that allows companies to offer phone service by leasing infrastructure from established carriers like AT&T, T-Mobile, or Verizon. By partnering with one of these giants, MrBeast could sidestep the enormous expense of building a network from scratch while offering competitive pricing and reliable coverage.
The strategy mirrors that of other celebrities such as Ryan Reynolds, whose Mint Mobile—also structured as an MVNO—was sold to T-Mobile in a deal worth roughly $1.35 billion. T-Mobile, notably, has previously collaborated with MrBeast.
This move fits into Donaldson’s broader push to transform his brand into a diversified business empire. He has already built food ventures such as Feastables and the snack company Lunchly, and even rolled out a toy line. The phone company could help balance the financial picture of his expanding enterprise. Despite boasting over 430 million YouTube subscribers, MrBeast’s media business has yet to turn a profit.
By contrast, his consumer brands are proving lucrative. According to Bloomberg, Feastables made over $20 million in profit last year on sales of about $250 million. Meanwhile, his media operations—including his flagship YouTube channel and a Prime Video reality competition show—ran at a loss of about $80 million.
