Federal Minister for Information Shibli Faraz said that today's decision of the Supreme Court regarding the Senate elections is historic and requested the Election Commission to use technology in the light of today's decision.
Talking to media in Peshawar, Federal Minister for Information Shibli Faraz said that we came out with the idea that there should be transparency in our society, people vote for Imran Khan and his ideology and not for the candidate.
Shibli Faraz said that we cannot put any pressure on the Election Commission, we can definitely apply.
He said that the coalition parties of the government will vote only for the nominee of Prime Minister Imran Khan. Our candidate Hafeez Sheikh fulfills the party ideology.
Shibli Faraz says that money has always been used in Senate elections, successful candidates make decisions in their personal interests on the basis of money, those who come under the pressure of money cannot legislate against their interests.
The Federal Minister for Information said that it seems that the election of the Senate will be held under Article 226. The Honorable Judge pointed out that technology should be used to make the election transparent and the Election Commission should take every step for transparency.
Shibli Faraz said that the Supreme Court said that the secrecy belt is not permanent, the requirements of the time are different, the ground realities are different, the government's decision to seek interpretation of the constitution was good, we in Pakistan with the philosophy of transparency and corruption free society. Gone, we are fighting a war of ideas.
He said that one theory is that as Pakistan is going on, so be it, opposition parties have always pursued a policy of buying money and conscience, we want elected representatives to come on the basis of merit and not on the basis of money, elected representatives. Decide for the people.
Shibli Faraz said that Hafeez Sheikh will also win in Islamabad, people vote for Imran Khan's ideology and personality, we want institutions to be independent, to make decisions without pressure.
