Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in South Waziristan during which a Taliban commander was killed.
According to the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), Taliban commander Nuristan alias Hassan Baba was killed in an intelligence-based operation in South Waziristan.
The ISPR added that the slain Taliban commander, Nuristan alias Hassan Baba, was involved in the killing of 50 personnel.
The Pakistan Army Public Relations Department also said that the operation was carried out in the Sharmangi area of South Waziristan.

According to ISPR, security forces conducted an intelligence operation in Malik Khel area of North Waziristan, killing two terrorists, including Commander Rehmat, wanted in the operation. According to ISPR, Soldier Rehmat Shehzad Raza was martyred in an exchange of fire with the terrorists.
The forces also seized a large number of weapons during the operation.
