On the special instructions of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, a commemorative stamp titled "Azm-e-Istahkam" (Commitment to Stability) was issued on the occasion of the country's 77th Independence Day.

The stamp, issued under the direction of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, features an image of Pakistan's javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem, paying tribute to his achievements.

The stamp is titled "Azm-e-Istahkam," symbolizing the country's commitment to progress and stability.

In addition, the stamp includes an image of Minar-e-Pakistan, highlighting the struggle for Pakistan's independence and its symbolic significance.

The stamp issued by the Government of Pakistan on Independence Day will educate future generations about the struggle, sacrifices, and commitment of the Government of Pakistan towards national stability.

It is noteworthy that on August 8, Arshad Nadeem set a new Olympic record by throwing the javelin 92.97 meters in the Paris Olympics final, winning a gold medal for Pakistan after 40 years.

Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan couldn't execute his first throw correctly, and it was declared a foul. In the third round, Arshad Nadeem threw the javelin 88.72 meters, while the Czech Republic's Jakub Vadlejch threw it 88.50 meters.

In the fourth throw, Arshad Nadeem threw the javelin 79.40 meters, while his fifth throw reached a distance of 84.87 meters.

In the sixth and final round, Arshad Nadeem recorded the second-best throw in the competition, throwing the javelin 91.79 meters, setting the second-best Olympic throw record.

Karachi Press Club Announces Life Membership for Arshad Nadeem

The Karachi Press Club (KPC) has announced the award of lifetime membership to the national hero Arshad Nadeem, who raised the nation's pride by winning a gold medal at the Paris Olympics 2024.

In a statement issued on Saturday, KPC President Saeed Sarbazi and Secretary Shoaib Ahmed said that Arshad Nadeem, through his hard work and dedication, has made the nation proud.

The officials stated that Arshad Nadeem once again raised Pakistan's flag high at the Olympic Games and won the gold medal for the country through his hard work and talent.

KPC leaders noted that Arshad Nadeem's success has won the hearts of the entire nation, who wholeheartedly congratulate him.

The club officials announced that Arshad Nadeem would be awarded lifetime membership by the Karachi Press Club for his historic achievement, and a prestigious ceremony would soon be held in his honor.

It is worth noting that the Karachi Press Club grants lifetime membership to individuals who have shown outstanding and commendable performance in their respective fields.
