Chairman of the Prime Minister's Youth Program, Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, stated that they have saved Pakistan from bankruptcy, and that the agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is a necessity. He said they are suffering due to the mistakes made in the past.
While addressing a Youth Convention in Islamabad, he mentioned that 65% of Pakistan's population is comprised of youth. The government is taking multiple steps to empower the youth, as they play a crucial role in the development and prosperity of the nation. He also noted that Pakistan has faced conspiracies and repeated attempts to destabilize it.
He emphasized that the youth of Pakistan are determined and have contributed to the nation's prosperity during difficult times. Pakistani youth are seen working and leading across the globe. The Prime Minister's Youth Program provides a platform to offer opportunities in various fields such as technology and arts to the youth across Pakistan.
He further stated that alongside education and skills, sports are also important. Arshad Nadeem has filled the entire nation with joy. The Prime Minister's Youth Program portal contains information related to the youth.
He mentioned that Muhammad Nawaz Sharif gave the country the atomic bomb, which has made the national defense invincible. Internally, efforts are made to weaken the foundation of Pakistan. In countries like Syria, Iraq, Egypt, and Libya, the youth were misled by tyrannical forces, leading to destruction, leaving them with no future.
Rana Mashhood said that they must strengthen themselves. Pakistan was founded on an ideology for which millions sacrificed their lives. Our youth sacrifice their lives to protect the borders of their country, contributing to the strength and stability of the nation, and thwarting the enemy’s conspiracies. The youth are our future, and we are investing in them.
He reiterated that they have saved Pakistan from bankruptcy, and entering into an agreement with the IMF was a compulsion. They are suffering the consequences of past mistakes but are determined to put the country on the path of development, for which their elders made sacrifices. They are committed to making the country developed, as stability and determination are the symbols of the nation's peace.
