We Must Eliminate Mutual Distrust and Strengthen Trust in Each Other Ali Amin Gandapur

While the opposition boycotted the Parliamentary Committee on National Security meeting, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur not only attended but also addressed the session.

According to sources, Ali Amin Gandapur highlighted security challenges in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, stating that despite the difficulties, measures are being taken to boost the morale of the police and other security forces.

The Chief Minister also mentioned an increase in police salaries and reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the province’s security forces. However, he pointed out that the merged tribal districts have not yet received full resources, leading to various problems.

He further stated that the KP government has been in continuous discussions with the federal government to ensure that the tribal districts receive their due rights.

Acknowledging the sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces, Gandapur praised the military’s role in combating terrorism and its significant contributions to restoring peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

"We must eliminate mutual distrust and enhance trust in each other," he stated, emphasizing the need for unity.

According to sources, without naming any political party, the KP Chief Minister stressed the importance of harmony among political parties, saying that national unity is essential to tackle the challenges facing the country.
