Speaking to media representatives during his appearance at the High Court, Asad Qaiser said he had previously secured transit bail in eight cases and now has bail until December 31 in three additional cases. He claimed that the government has devalued the significance of FIRs.
He emphasized that PTI is struggling within constitutional and legal boundaries. "If the government declares political workers as terrorists, how will people accept this? The government is targeting PTI instead of terrorists. The country's law and order situation is worsening," he added.
Asad Qaiser condemned the labeling of political figures as terrorists and announced that the ceremony for martyrs would now be held on December 15 instead of December 13 at Bagh-e-Naran.
He accused the government of shooting peaceful citizens, stealing PTI's mandate, and illegally passing the 26th amendment. He demanded the release of political prisoners.
Qaiser also criticized the treatment of Pashtuns in Punjab and Islamabad, calling it a conspiracy against the country. He condemned the closure of trade with Afghanistan and called for action against those involved in injustices against Pashtuns.
He further stated that PTI is in contact with Maulana Fazlur Rehman and seeks a joint movement against the government. He accused the Pakistan People's Party of being complicit in the events of November 26.
Earlier, the Peshawar High Court, under Chief Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim, heard Asad Qaiser’s transit bail request in three cases. The court barred Islamabad and Rawalpindi police from arresting him and granted transit bail until December 31, directing him to appear before the relevant courts.
