There Was an Assurance That There Would Be No Gas Load Shedding During Sehri and Iftar: Murtaza Wahab

Mayor of Karachi, Barrister Murtaza Wahab, has stated that Karachi residents were assured that there would be no gas load shedding during Sehri and Iftar, and that the supply of gas to all consumers would be ensured.

Reacting to gas load shedding during Sehri and Iftar in Karachi, Mayor Murtaza Wahab said that the unavailability of gas is causing difficulties for fasting individuals.

He further stated that during the holy month of Ramadan, the people of Karachi are facing gas load shedding, which is creating hardships for citizens. The same issue persists in Hyderabad, Larkana, and other cities of Sindh.

Murtaza Wahab also highlighted that Article 158 of the Constitution ensures that the province from which gas is discovered will have its needs met first.
