Pixel Weather Introduces Small but Useful Updates

In its latest update, Google has added two minor but helpful tweaks to Pixel Weather, making it easier to view dates and save locations.

With Pixel Weather v1.0.20250127.729684887, Google has introduced two small improvements. The first is the addition of dates under each day in the 10-day forecast, making it slightly easier to associate predictions with specific dates. While a minor change, it enhances usability.

Additionally, when checking the weather for your current location, a new "Save" button now appears, allowing you to quickly add the location to the app’s homepage. Previously, users had to manually search for the location and add it to the Saved Places list.

It also appears that Google is gradually rolling out snowfall predictions in Pixel Weather. SmartDroid reported spotting a new snowfall card in the app, which wasn’t available before. This card displays hourly snowfall, snow intensity, and expected duration. The report suggests that this "Snow Falling" card has also been seen in Google's weather experience within the Google app and Search.

However, we haven’t observed this feature on our end yet, so it could be region-specific or not widely released. If you’ve spotted it, let us know in the comments!
