President Asif Ali Zardari congratulated the entire nation and the Muslim world on Eid-ul-Fitr, stating that the occasion reminds us of the importance of unity and togetherness. He encouraged people to generously give Zakat, Sadaqah, and Fitrana to help those in need.
In his message, the President further stated that true happiness lies in sharing joy with others. He urged everyone to incorporate the blessings of Ramadan into their daily lives.
He also highlighted that Ramadan teaches patience, worship, and helping the less fortunate, while Eid-ul-Fitr is a divine reward for the hardships of fasting.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended heartfelt Eid greetings to the entire nation, stating that Eid-ul-Fitr is a day of joy, gratitude, brotherhood, and compassion.
He emphasized that Pakistan is facing threats from internal and external enemies. He urged the nation to stay away from extremism, hatred, and sectarianism and to unite for the integrity and stability of the country.
The Prime Minister further stressed that it is the collective responsibility of all Pakistanis to strengthen the economy, society, and national unity.
He reaffirmed the government's commitment to stabilizing the economy and called for national unity to put Pakistan on the path of progress and prosperity while thwarting conspiracies against the country.
