Prime Minister Expresses Satisfaction Over Further Decline in Inflation

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed satisfaction over the further decline in the inflation rate.

In his statement, the Prime Minister noted that the inflation rate was recorded at 0.7% in March 2025, compared to 20.7% in the same month last year.

He stated that inflation in the country is now at its lowest level in six decades.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the decline in inflation is proof that the government’s policies are moving in the right direction. He added that this reduction is having a positive impact on the lives of ordinary citizens.

He further remarked that the gradual decrease in inflation is also reflecting positively on the national economy.

Highlighting the government's efforts, he stated that the country is now on the path to progress, and the government is working tirelessly for the welfare of the people.
