In a statement on the matter, caretaker Prime Minister Inam-ul-Haq Kakar said that an emergency meeting has been called at the Prime Minister's House on the issue of heavy electricity bills.

Kakar said that a briefing will be taken from the Ministry of Energy and distribution companies in the meeting.

The caretaker prime minister said that consultation will be held on providing maximum relief to consumers regarding electricity bills.

It is to be noted that the increase in electricity bills has crossed the limits of the patience of the people.

In this regard, demonstrations have also been held in various cities of the country, including Karachi, Rawalpindi, Multan, Gujranwala, and Peshawar.

In response to the public outcry over the high cost of electricity bills, the caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan, Inam-ul-Haq Kakar, has called an emergency meeting at the Prime Minister's House. The meeting will be attended by representatives from the Ministry of Energy and distribution companies to discuss the issue. Kakar has said that the government will consult on ways to provide maximum relief to consumers.

It is important to note that the recent increase in electricity prices has led to widespread protests and demonstrations across Pakistan.
