Major Leak Reveals Nearly Every Detail About Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and Flip 7 FE

Just 48 hours after Samsung’s next Unpacked event, yet another foldable-related leak has erupted—this time painting a much clearer picture of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 lineup, complete with a surprising twist that deviates from earlier rumors.

This extensive leak originates from tipster Roland Quandt via his BlueSky account, where he posted a spec table covering the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and Flip 7 FE. The initial post, appearing to stem from a press release or internal marketing brief, centers entirely on the Fold 7. According to the leak, the Fold 7 boasts a sleek 8.9mm chassis, compressing down to an astonishing 4.2mm when unfolded. Perhaps more striking is the weight—at just 216 grams, the device is actually lighter than the Galaxy S25 Ultra, making it Samsung’s lightest large-display foldable to date.

Meet the thinnest and lightest Z Fold yet, measuring just 8.9mm thin when folded and 4.2mm when unfolded, and weighing 216g. [...] a classic 6.5-inch display for on-the-go, combined with a generous 8-inch screen [...] also features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite [...] 4,400mAh battery [...].

Among the Fold 7’s leaked specs are a 6.5-inch external display, an 8-inch inner screen, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. Camera details remain vague, aside from confirmation of a 200MP main sensor. The 4,000mAh battery continues Samsung’s tradition of packing reliable endurance into slim frames. While the chart lacks mention of a 1TB variant, Quandt later clarified that its absence is region-specific rather than a factual omission.

As for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Flip 7 FE, their specs may initially appear underwhelming—particularly since processor info was left out entirely, leaving one of the biggest lingering questions unanswered. But a truly unexpected revelation emerges: display size. Both Flip 7 models reportedly feature identical 6.9-inch main screens and 4.1-inch external panels—directly contradicting earlier leaks that painted the FE as a trimmed-down, budget-friendly version.

This revelation is even more curious considering previously leaked renders showed Flip 5 and Flip 6-style folder-shaped displays. That inconsistency suggests the newly leaked table might contain outdated or inaccurate information. Still, Samsung could surprise us on Wednesday: if both Flip variants adopt full-sized displays, it would undercut Motorola’s budget Razr lineup overnight. At the very least, the leak confirms the Flip 7 FE will debut in just black and white color options.

With less than two days to go until the official unveiling, the countdown is on. Samsung’s Unpacked event is set for Wednesday, July 9 at 10 AM. Time is also running out to join the reservation list—doing so comes with zero commitment, a $50 preorder credit, and the chance to apply that toward accessories like the Galaxy Watch 8. Throw in triple reward points, up to $1,150 in savings, and an entry into a sweepstake for $5,000 in Samsung credit, and the deal becomes even more enticing.
