Security agencies have detained the Deputy Superintendent of Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi.
According to sources, Deputy Superintendent Muhammad Akram is accused of facilitating the founder of PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf).
Sources indicate that the Deputy Superintendent was taken into custody for exceeding his authority. Security agencies are currently investigating the Deputy Superintendent.
Sources further claim that the Deputy Superintendent is also accused of secretly conveying messages for the founder of PTI.
According to sources, the IG (Inspector General) of Punjab Prisons has been informed by the security agencies.
Sources added that departmental action will be taken against Deputy Superintendent Muhammad Akram after the investigation.
Deputy Superintendent Muhammad Akram had already been removed from his position.

Federal Minister Engineer Amir Maqam has stated that the founder of PTI is demanding evidence like a child and has done nothing but spread negative propaganda.
Speaking at the Independence Day ceremony in Mardan, Amir Maqam said that on May 9, a major conspiracy was hatched against Pakistan, and everyone knows who the people were that carried out the attacks.
He further mentioned that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa made a decision in favor of Pakistan in 1947, and the people of the province are patriotic Pakistanis.
Amir Maqam also said that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa confronted India at the Kashmir border, made great sacrifices in the fight against terrorism, with thousands martyred and injured, and that we will continue to hold the Pakistani flag high in the future.
