Karachi: Stray Dogs Attack Young Girl Walking Through Street

In Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Hadeed area, a young girl was attacked by stray dogs while walking through a street but miraculously remained unharmed.

According to details, the incident occurred when the young girl was passing through a street in Gulshan-e-Hadeed and was chased by two stray dogs. A third, smaller dog was also seen running in the area during the incident.

The two larger stray dogs surrounded the girl, who could be seen trying to escape them. One of the dogs attempted to attack her, but fortunately, she remained safe.

During this time, a motorcyclist passing by intervened just in time, rescuing the girl from the dogs and safely escorting her across the street after scaring the dogs away. The incident took place on Tuesday morning.

In the city, stray dogs are not only known for barking at and chasing motorcyclists—often causing riders to fall in panic—but their increasing numbers in streets and neighborhoods have also made it difficult for women and young children to go outside safely.

Citizens have urged the relevant authorities to adopt a proper strategy to protect the public from stray dogs so that people can remain safe from any untoward incidents.
